The BRTCCS is a diverse group of people who gather regularly to explore the benefits of the art of Tai Chi Chuan in Logan, Utah. The Tai Chi we practice is the Yang Style as developed through Yang Cheng-fu's disciple Professor Cheng Man-ch'ing and Professor Cheng's senior student Benjamin Lo Pang Jeng. We have been active now in Cache Valley Utah for nearly twenty years.
Working to allow the leg its proper place Glennette made comment that she was more aware that the foot was not bearing weight vertically. It is helpful to consider the flow of weighted energy by considering where it is coming from and where it is going to. If there is a blockage this is a good way to diagnose and correct. For example, the relation between the thigh (femur) and the calf (fibula/tibia) is the knee. To correct blockages and poor angles in the foot consider relaxing the ankle joints and the sole of the foot. A lot of stability difficulties in the legs and waist can be remedied simply by very carefully and conscientiously softening the sole of the foot.
I have posted a couple of comments that do not appear next time I sign in... Anyway, I want to let you know I am reading and appreciate the reminders of good practice.
